Website Exclusive - 30th Anniversary Show for Tatton Park in June
2016 sees the 30th anniversary of one of Britain's best and most popular classic car shows; The Tatton Park Classic Car Spectacular.
On Saturday and Sunday June 4 & 5, some 2,000 classic and performance cars will be on display in north Cheshire's beautiful country park, near Knutsford.
You'll find nearly 80 of Britain's best car clubs including all the famous names; Jaguar, Lotus, Jensen, MG, Triumph, BMW, the iconic Mini plus many more of the classic and vintage vehicles of yesteryear.
Organised by Cheshire Auto Promotions, boss Edgar Milner recalls the show's modest beginnings, which have seen it grow into one of the best loved enthusiasts events on the calendar. "It might be 30 years ago, but it only seems like yesterday. We're very proud of what we have achieved in three decades; the Tatton Show is one of the staples of the classic car year, attracting many 1000s of visitors and really earning it's nickname - 'The Big One'."
As usual, there's also the massive two-day Cheshire Autojumble with specialist and general trade stand area of around 200 stalls, along with the ever popular Car Mart which will see a variety of classics on sale.
Visitors can also enjoy the usual family entertainment with children's rides, refreshments and bar, plus all that Tatton Park itself has to offer. The event takes place from 9am until 4pm each day. Show admission: adults £9, children (10 - 15 years) £6, Under 10's FREE. Entry to the Park itself and parking costs £6 per vehicle.
